The plant Acacia Catechu, called as Karingali in Ayurveda, is a natural water purifier. Its wood peeling, and wood powder is a strong germ killer and a natural purifier which has no side effects in human body.


Medicinal use of Acacia Catechu

Acacia Catechu is most useful natural medicine and is widely used among millions of people as a natural water purifier. Dried form of its peelings and dried stem of acacia catechu can be kept for long time. Acacia Cathechu which is colloquially known as Karingally is also using in preparation of many Ayurveda medicines.

There are many old inscriptions in Vedas about the usage and importance of medicinal plants like Acacia Catechu (Karingali). Acacia Catechu have many medicinal values and highly used to purifying the drinking water. It can solve urinary infections, digestive problems etc. There are many well known natural water purifiers like Pathimugham, Ramacham, Karingali which are commonly used Medicinal herbs in India.
